  • Dartford (North Kent) – Around 20 miles. By car it takes 45-60 minutes, while trains to London Bridge or Charing Cross take about 35-45 minutes. 
  • Maidstone (Mid Kent) – Roughly 40 miles. Driving takes around 1 hour 15 minutes, with train journeys into central London just under an hour. 
  • Canterbury (East Kent) – About 60 miles. By car it takes 1 hour 30 minutes, while high-speed trains to London St Pancras take around 55 minutes (standard services 1 hour 30 minutes). 
  • Dover (Coastal Kent) – Around 80 miles. Driving takes about 2 hours, while high-speed trains reach London in just over 1 hour, compared to around 2 hours on standard routes.
