Ray, a RICS Chartered Surveyor since 1980 and Fellow since 1996, brings decades of valuation expertise. Joining Watsons in 1987, he became Senior Partner in 2015 and Senior Officer & Business Leader in 2022, leading our team while working full-time in surveying across East Anglia and beyond.
Gavin, a RICS Chartered Surveyor since 2004, began his career at Watsons in 2002 after earning a Real Estate Management degree. Gavin is now a Senior Officer & Business Leader at Watsons, managing the team while surveying full-time across the East Anglia area.
Ian has 35+ years of experience in property across the UK and Europe and has been a RICS Chartered Surveyor since 2000. Joining Watsons in 2015, he now serves as a Senior Officer & Business Leader, managing our team while surveying full-time from the North East.
Olivia brings expertise in both commercial and residential property. With an MSc in Real Estate Management and experience across the West Midlands, she provides trusted valuations and property advice.
James, our expert in Leasehold Valuation, specialises in negotiating lease extensions and enfranchisement, ensuring clients secure the best possible outcomes across the nation. James is a proud Valuer of the Year finalist at the Apartment Adviser Awards 2025.
Mark earned a Building Surveying degree from the University of Reading before joining Watsons as a trainee, soon qualifying as a RICS member in 2016. Passionate about Norfolk residential properties and their history, Mark is a key member of our Eastern Regional Team.
David, a RICS Chartered Surveyor since 2000, also holds a BSc (Hons) in Estate Surveying. With extensive experience in residential survey and valuation across the East Midlands, Dave joins us as a Regional Area Manager & Chartered Surveyor.
Steven earned a BSc (Hons) in Physical Geography from Exeter (2011) and an MSc in Real Estate from Reading (2015). He became a RICS member and Registered Valuer in 2016 before joining us to lead our team from Cambridgeshire, where he carries out Expert Witness work alongside inspections.
With over a decade of industry experience, Abbi offers a wealth of residential valuation experience, handling properties across the Leicestershire region. Following AssocRICS qualification in 2021, Abbi is now part of our West-Midlands Regional Team, bringing local expertise and skills.
Amy's career began as a Trainee Sales Negotiator, quickly rising to senior level and earning two awards. AssocRICS qualified in 2014, she spent a decade working with private clients and mortgage lenders before joining us in 2024. Based in St Neots, her lifelong home, Amy serves the Eastern South Region.
Demelza began in the legal sector before transitioning to surveying. Qualifying as AssocRICS and Registered Valuer in 2020, she later joined Watsons in 2022. Demelza carries out RICS Level 2 and Level 3 Surveys, as well as a mix of valuations for private clients, housing associations, and lenders.
Jess studied for her Building Surveying degree, whilst practicing as an Estate Agent in North Norfolk. Jess joined Watsons in 2018, training for her AssocRICS assessment, qualifying in 2021. As a key member of our Eastern Regional Team, Jess undertakes valuations and RICS Level 2 & 3 surveys in Norfolk.
Ross secured a LLB Law in 2012, subsequently passing the APC and obtaining Associate RICS membership in 2016. Undertaking roles like Area Surveyor, and Survey Director for local firms, Ross brings a valuable wealth of area knowledge to our West Midlands Regional team.
With a Diploma in Surveying Practice and AssocRICS status, Mark has brought his in-depth industry knowledge to Watsons' Eastern Central Region team since 2021. Managing his own property portfolio, Mark applies his personal experience and understanding to his work.
Inspired by her rural upbringing and farmer grandfather, Diana pursued Rural Enterprise & Land Management at Harper Adams University. After gaining general practice experience, she focused on residential property for 14+ years, joining Watsons' Eastern Regional Team in 2020.
In 1988, Andrew began as a Senior Acquisitions Valuer, qualifying as an ISVA Associate in 1991 and a RICS member and Registered Valuer in 2000. After two decades in-house and self-employed, he joined Watsons as a Chartered Surveyor & Registered Valuer in our North East Regional Team.
Armed with his AssocRICS membership and SAVA Diploma in Residential Surveying and Valuation, Gavin joins our East-Central Region as a surveyor. Based close to central Ipswich, Gavin is our trusted contact for estate agents around the IP postcode area.
In 2001, Ian earned his BSc (Hons) in Business Property Management, Property & Finance, soon becoming an MRICS member in 2006. Starting at the Valuation Office Agency, he joined Watsons in 2019 and is now Senior Technical Manager, combined with his Derbyshire and Leicestershire-based surveying.
Emma earned a First-Class Honours Degree in Estate Management from Northumbria University in 2012 and became an MRICS member in 2013. She joined Watsons in 2016 and is a key part of our North Eastern Regional Team, covering Northumberland to Lancashire.
Hannah earned her Honours Degree in Real Estate, later becoming an MRICS member in 2016. Gaining experience at a leading Lincoln firm, she joined Watsons in 2017, bringing her valued breadth of Lincoln-based area and property market knowledge to our East Midlands Regional Team.
Working extensively throughout the East Midlands through much of his career, Paul brings over three decades of invaluable local property knowledge and experience to Watsons' East Midlands Regional Team, as a RICS member since 1985.
Ione earned her BSc (Hons) in Land Management from De Montfort University in 1992, gaining MRICS status in 1995. After relocating to North Yorkshire, she revived her surveying career in 2021, joining Watsons' North-East Regional Team in 2023.
James earned a Diploma in Surveying Practice before securing a BSc (Hons) in Estate Management from UCEM. Gaining experience in commercial and residential property, he became MRICS in 2019. James joined Watsons in 2021 as a valued member of the East Midlands Regional Team.
John, a RICS member since 2000, has built a successful career in senior roles across East Anglia, South Wales, and the Midlands. With extensive knowledge of Suffolk, Essex, and Greater London, he joined Watsons in 2019 as a Chartered Surveyor and key member of our Southern Regional Team.
Ricky earned a BSc (Hons) in Real Estate Management in 2021, becoming a RICS member and Registered Valuer that same year. With 5 years of shadowing experience, Ricky joined in 2022 and now serves as a Chartered Surveyor in the Eastern Regional Team.
John is a well-experienced property specialist, who has been onboard Watsons' North West Regional Team since 2024. Qualified with a BSc Hons in Valuation & Management, APC, and RICS membership since 2002, Jonathon is committed to the highest industry standards.
Mike has 40+ years of experience in valuations and surveys across Norfolk and Suffolk. Beginning in estate agency in 1979, Mike has gained a BSc (Hons) in Estate Management and MRICS status since 1999. Joining our Eastern Regional Team in 2018, Mike specialises in waterside properties.
With an impressive 25+ years in property, including refurbishment, construction, owning a company to advising on low carbon building solutions, Peter is a valued member of Watsons' East-Midlands Regional Team, with a particular interest in energy efficiency and retrofit.
Qualified with a BSc (Hons) degree in Property Management (2001) and RICS Membership (2002), James brings 25+ years of experience to Watsons - including extensive experience in residential valuation and survey, construction technology, and building pathology.
Previously CEO at Westley & Huff, Paul brings over 35 years of industry experience to Watsons' Southern Regional Team. Recognised for his high professional standards and trusted advice, Paul brings a strong network of connections and local expertise to Watsons.
Tessa gained her BSc (Hons) in Estate Management in 1993 and RICS membership in 1995. With extensive experience in residential and commercial property, Tessa brings her knowledge of valuations, lease renewals, and property management to Watsons' North East Regional Team.
Qualified with a BSc (Hons) in Estate Management and RICS Membership, Andrew brings over 25 years of industry experience in property and asset management to Watsons' South-East Central Team.
Qualified with an MSc in Rural Estate Management (2017) and RICS Membership since 2019, Harry brings broad expertise, rural insight, and a client-focused approach to our East-Central Regional Team.
Qualified with an ABBE Level 6 Diploma in Residential Property Surveying and Valuation, Christine brings broad experience across sales, lettings, surveying and valuation to Watsons’ East–South Regional Team.
Alistair earned a BSc in Building Surveying from Anglia Ruskin University, following an HND in Construction and the Built Environment. He joined Watsons as a Trainee in 2024, and is on his path with the RICS to become an MRICS Chartered Surveyor. Alistair brings his AutoCAD skills, expanding our services to include a variety of drawn plans.
Based in our North East Regional Team, Thomas joined Watsons as a Trainee Residential Surveyor in June 2024. Equipped with experience completing stock condition and local authority and council survey work from previous roles, Thomas is now a RICS student, aiming is to gain MRICS & VRS status in the future.
