Homelessness remains a pressing issue in the UK, particularly during the festive season when its impact is deeply felt. In 2023, over 309,000 people in England were estimated to be experiencing homelessness, including more than 151,000 children living in temporary accommodation. These figures highlight a growing crisis, with many families facing a stark Christmas without the warmth and stability of a home
That’s why this year Watsons is supporting CRISIS. Charities like Crisis are working to address these issues by providing support and advocating for long-term solutions, such as increasing the availability of affordable social housing. These efforts aim to ensure that everyone has a place to call home, especially during the holidays when the absence of a stable home is felt most keenly.
